The Treiterschijf in that week is one of the few that did not even make the Tipparade on Radio Veronica.

I didn't keep an RNI diary for the period January to September 1973, so my recollection of what went on at the time is from memory alone. The first three months of 1973 were notable for Driemaster being live again, having been recorded during the last quarter of 1972 with Alfred Lagarde presenting. Alfred and Leo van der Goot presented it in alternate weeks in the period January to March 1973, subject to when the tender was able to make it to the Mebo 2, until Alfred left in March and was replaced on Driemaster by Dick de Graaf. Alfred and Leo would become colleagues again within a couple of years on the VARA Dinsdag on Hilversum 3 and, of course, later on the VOO.

The DJ list on the printed Top 50 is also interesting in that it omits Hans ten Hooge, Hans Molenaar and Dick de Graaf, all of whom were very much part of the Dutch service at the time, as well as Mark Slate from the International Service.

Looking at my diary for January 1974, the equivalent week to this one was interesting, as it includes the day that the Eerste Kamer passed the Anti-Zeezender legislation, so I'll post some more details in last week's Top 50 thread.
